Cool Pack

If it’s hot and raining near you, our Cool Pack Vests are the right way to cool you down. The Cool Packs stay at a constant 58 degrees for up to 2.5 hours. They do not require any air flow to operate and can be used under any clothing. The vest weighs 6 pounds and is 1.5 inch thick. Our Cool Packs are used under military combat gear and hazardous materials suits.

                                     





Phase Change Method

The Cool Pack Vests utilize phase change technology. Phase change material freezes at a different temperature than water. Our Cool Pack Vest material freezes and melts at 58 degrees. The material takes up to 2.5 hours to melt. The Phase Change material is non-toxic, non-flammable, durable, reusable, and lighter than water.

Just place the Cool Pack insert (not the vest) in freezer or ice water for up to 45 minutes until it is solid. Then place the Cool Pack in the vest. Your Cool Pack Vest is now ready to use.

We have noticed that it is best to have a cotton shirt between your Cool Pack Vest and your skin. You can even wear it over most shirts. Cotton will even out the 58 degree temperature and absorb any condensation from the humid air.
